Insert money into the machine and choose your bet level. We suggest
that you always play five coins as the prizes are bigger and the pay
out for a royal flush is proportional bigger. For example one coin
play gets 200 coins and five coin play gets 4000.
Once you have pressed deal you will be dealt five cards. You can then
choose to hold any or all of the cards. Press draw to be dealt replacement
cards. At this point the game is over and you will be paid for any
winning combinations.
Most video poker machines also offer a double up option where you
can try to double your winnings up to five times. If you press the
double up button you will see one card dealt face up and four face
down. Your aim is to pick a card that is higher than the face up card.
If you do your win is doubled, if you don't you lose your win and
if you pick the same value it is a tie.
There are many types of video poker machines. Popular variations include
Jacks or Better where the minimum paying hand is a pair of jacks or
higher, Deuces Wild where all cards with a value of two act like jokers
and Double Bonus where the pay outs for the four of a kind hands are
increased. On all but one variation the royal flush is the highest
